Top-Op Foods

Top-Op Foods in Dunstable have worked with Locators for over 20 years. With the business growing and a new unit recently taken on, they needed to refresh parts of their fleet and fit out the new space. Locators supplied a fresh package of Toyota trucks alongside racking for the new unit, taking their total Locators-supplied fleet past 20 pieces of equipment.

What We Provided

THE REASON BEHIND THE SOLUTION

Top-Op have run Toyota equipment for years and trust Locators to keep it running. With some of their 8 series counterbalance trucks due for replacement and a new unit being brought online, the timing was right to bring in newer kit.

Three new Toyota 9FBEKT16 counterbalance trucks went in to replace the older 8 series, two additional RRE140 reach trucks were added to the fleet (one of them dedicated to the new unit), and an LWE160 powered pallet truck was swapped in for an existing one. Racking was also installed in the new unit so the space could be put to work straight away. The result is a newer, more efficient fleet across both sites and a setup that suits how Top-Op actually run day to day.
