In cooperation with Toyota, Locators offers a range of automated trucks known as “Autopilots”. These cover different types of material handling and guarantee a smooth and lean workflow. Automated trucks can safely and efficiently handle standard pallets. Meanwhile, your staff can focus on the less mundane tasks and handle the more valuable and complex assignments. Better yet, these automated trucks can be equipped with Lithium-Ion batteries for auto charging. This way, your automated trucks are truly automated and can be charged in-between tasks without the need for personnel.

AUTOMATED TOW TRAINS
Automated long-distance transport or milk runs.
Item handling is key for manufacturing sites. To optimise your warehouse, Toyota has developed its easy-to-use Autopilot range. These automated trucks can automatically hook/unhook the train safely at predefined workstations. With the automated towing truck you can organise “milk runs” in your organisation's production area too. Autopilots can be equipped with Lithium-ion batteries. This allows for auto-charging, meaning the trucks can charge in-between tasks without the need of personnel.

SEMI-AUTOMATED SHUTTLES
Semi-automated high-density storage solutions
This high-density, deep storage solution uses semi-automated shuttles. With these in play, the solution can store and retrieve palletised goods from the racking. The shuttles are placed in the racking by automated trucks or standard forklifts. This saves a lot of time since trucks – automated or not – only need to bring the pallets to the entrance of the racking channels. Whilst the shuttle transports the pallet to its final position, the forklift can retrieve the next pallet. This way, pallets can be handled faster, increasing productivity and decreasing operational costs.
Safe Pallet Handling
Each Radioshuttle is equipped with features like warning lights, audio signals, bright and clear display systems and a laser scanner safety system.
Clear Connectivity
There is a remote-controlled communication between the truck and shuttle with a “one-push function” serving unlimited number of shuttles.
Efficient Productivity
The Radioshuttle works with various load carriers and can operate > 8 h with standard batteries and > 16h with Li-ion batteries.
Quick & Easy Charging
Each charging station can handle 2 battery sets (4 battery cassettes). These are placed within drawers that automatically charge upon closure.
Cold Store Operation
Shuttles can operate in temperatures down to -30°C. High-density storage is ideal for cold store operation, as pallet locations in cold areas are expensive.
